"LASERS" is preceded by the arrival of the politically charged "Words I Never Said" track, produced by GRAMMY-nominated Alex da Kid (B.o.B, Eminem, Nicki Minaj, T.I.) and featuring additional vocals from singer/songwriter Skylar Grey. "Words" created an online frenzy after its viral release on February 1st, and will be available for purchase at all DSPs and iTunes on February 8th. "Words I Never Said" follows hot on the heels of the first single from "LASERS": "The Show Goes On." The track -- produced by Kane Beatz (Trey Songz, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross) -- is available now at iTunes and all leading DSPs. In addition, the companion video clip for "The Show Goes On" -- directed by Hiro Murai (B.o.B, Usher, Bloc Party) -- is currently featured on BET's 106 & Park countdown, with fans invited to vote now at

Long hailed as one of hip-hop's most electrifying and active live performers, Lupe is currently wrapping up the sold-out Australia/New Zealand leg of his worldwide "Generation Lasers" tour. Lupe will return to the U.S. in time for a celebratory album release concert presented by HOT 97 on March 7th at Webster Hall. A full-scale North American headline tour in support of "LASERS" will be announced shortly.

"LASERS" is the eagerly awaited follow-up to Lupe's blockbuster second album, "LUPE FIASCO'S THE COOL," which debuted on Billboard's "Top Rap Albums" chart at #1 upon its December 2007 release, and remained in the peak position for nine weeks. Fueled by the platinum certified hit single, "Superstar (Feat. Matthew Santos)," the highly praised collection went on to receive gold certification by the RIAA for sales exceeding 500,000.
