Uptown X.O - Black America

Born and bred Washington DC wordsmith, Uptown X.O, and multimedia production collaborative, CLCTVE, have once again joined forces to craft the Diamond District emcee's latest visual, "Black America". The politically charged record, produced by A.B the Pro, is a lyrical diatribe aimed at our nations governing hierarchies for their perceived roles in the ongoing "black plight" that continues to disconnect many from mainstream society. Fittingly enough, the visual depicts X.O delivering his controversial message directly within the political apex of America, Downtown Washington, where government buildings tower over a gentrified community once known as "Chocolate City". Inspired by Mario Van Peebles' early 90's cult classic, New Jack City, "Black America" features intertwining excerpts from the film which serve as a backdrop for the Crack Cocaine epidemic that X.O makes references to in the song. The rapper's latest project, "Monumental II", a follow up to its 2009 critically acclaimed predecessor "Monumental", is set to release Tuesday, August 30th. The album features production in its entirety from A.B the Pro and contains guest features from Fat Trel and X.O's Diamond District crew, among others. Be on the lookout for "Monumental II" and more CLCTVE directed presentations from X.O.

the covers (bearing Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and Larry Bird) being revealed a couple weeks ago. Now IGN is reporting that the game will feature a game mode called NBA’s Greatest. A way to relive 15 of the leagues most historic games and giving you the option to play as 15 legends. So far, the confirmed players are the three gracing the cover, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Julius Erving.

To add icing to the cake, the classic teams can be unlocked and played in game against contemporary lineups. Kobe vs. Kareem. Dr. J vs. KG. Jordan vs. LeBron.

“There’s the age old debate how players and teams from today would compare with teams of yesterday,” said Jason Argent, vice president of marketing for 2K Sports. “We want to settle that debate.”

With that being said, who do y’all hope are the remaining 10 players are?
